James is a veteran tech sales leader having spent over 20 years in the tech sales space. After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in financial services he landed his first job as one of the first ten employees at GeoTrust Europe which became Globalsign. Since then, he has worked for numerous tech/SaaS companies, mainly on the sales side of things. He was part of the founding team for LinkedIn Sales Navigator and helped launch the SDR function for IBM (SPSS Division). James has also worked with numerous startups to help build out and develop their sales teams and processes.

Given that startups often have a limited budget, James has hired and trained hundreds of sales professionals over the years. His biggest passion is developing people to help them grow and succeed.

Outside of work, James now lives in Highland Park, IL, with his wife Jamie, two kids (Addy and Stevie), and dogs. He loves balancing his time so he can be with his family. James is also a massive Arsenal football fan, a big Formula One fan, and is a writer of fiction novels
